Medical Unit Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Ward Clerk to join our team at Prairie Mountain Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our patients and staff.
Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff
- Manage patient records, including chart preparation, labeling, and assembly
- Coordinate patient transfers, including booking ambulances and preparing relevant documentation
- Use ADT to admit, transfer, and discharge patients
- Order supplies and maintain a well-stocked unit
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
- Completion of Office Administration Medical diploma, Health Unit Clerk certificate, or equivalent hospital-based training
- One year of Ward Clerk experience in a patient care unit within the last five years
- Proficiency in computer skills related to electronic health records and Microsoft programs
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
