Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) to join our multidisciplinary team at Coast Mental Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to individuals with mental health challenges in a supported housing setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric and nursing care to clients, including assessment, pharmacotherapy, and crisis intervention.
  • Work collaboratively with the Program Director and multidisciplinary team to develop and implement client-centered care plans.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and community partners to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in mental health care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved school of nursing with current practicing membership with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • At least three years of recent related experience in mental health and addiction, either in a hospital or community setting.
  • Valid First Aid Certificate and Class 5 B.C. Driver's License with access to a vehicle.
