Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) to join our team at Coast Mental Health. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to individuals with mental health challenges in a supported housing setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric assessments, pharmacotherapy, and crisis intervention to clients
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the treatment team
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and community agencies to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and develop care plans
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of program services to meet the needs of clients
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved school of nursing with current practicing membership with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • At least three years of recent related experience in mental health and addiction, either in a hospital or community setting
  • Ability to provide/obtain a valid First Aid Certificate and a valid Class 5 B.C. Driver's License
