We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team at Independent Grocers Alliance. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Supervise and manage a team of retail staff, providing guidance and coaching to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Store Operations: Oversee the management of purchases, inventories, price lists, marketing, and salary productivity to ensure business readiness and meet sales targets.
- Performance Management: Define objectives and clearly communicate expectations to your team, providing feedback for continuous improvement and coaching them to achieve results.
- Inventory Management: Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking of merchandise.

- 2+ years of retail management experience
