Your Role

In this role, you will be a part of the Design team, in the Architecture Group, based in the Halifax office. As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and review of contract drawings, details, and sketches with a focus on quality and scheduled deadlines of project deliverables.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Implement processes and improve tools in REVIT to facilitate consistent and efficient drawing production.
  • Communicate with other team members and become familiar with EXP standards to complete assignments and projects in a timely manner.
  • Mentor and support designers in the use of drawing production tools and processes.
  • Lead and manage BIM related tasks on multiple, large scope, complex Projects.
  • Serve as technical advisor to Clients and Project teams in matters related to BIM and digital delivery.
What We're Looking For

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Technologist with a minimum of 10 years of proficient experience in BIM 360, REVIT, and architectural design. You should have exceptional skills in the production and coordination of contract documents, as well as knowledge and understanding of architectural standards, building sciences, construction technologies, and practices.

You should be proficient in Autodesk design and construction products, including BIM 360, REVIT, AutoCAD, and Revisto. You should also be able to work with a team to produce working drawings and 3D models of architectural designs for innovative multi-disciplinary projects.

We're looking for someone with excellent verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and staff. You should be a self-motivated and self-starter with a strong work ethic, good time management skills, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
