As a Full-Time Occupational Therapist, you'll be part of a dynamic, inclusive, and collaborative interdisciplinary team that's dedicated to helping clients get back to meaningful and productive activity.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess clients' physical and/or cognitive functioning within the clinic setting, including job demands analyses, functional capacity evaluations, cognitive abilities evaluations, ergonomic, attendant care, and pre-employment assessments.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning.
  • Educate clients on topics such as safe body mechanics, cognitive behavioral strategies, and functional tolerance activities.
  • Support return-to-work programs, including job coaching and accommodation recommendations.
  • Utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Participate in case conferences and case management.
  • Collaborate with the inter-professional team at your clinic.
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy students (as preferred).
  • Network with stakeholders to promote Lifemark OT programs.
  • Manage caseload in a fast-paced environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
  • Previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of the team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development.
  • Previous experience supporting auto insurance, long-term disability, and WSIB referrals is a strong asset.
  • Experience supporting occupational rehabilitation is a strong asset.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
