Qualifications- Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
This position involves on-site customer service, providing a dynamic and engaging work atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities- Calculate and prepare payroll cheques.
- Assess fixed assets and manage depreciation schedules.
- Maintain and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Oversee general ledgers and financial statements.
- Post journal entries accurately.
- Compile statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed.
- Prepare tax returns in compliance with regulations.
- Generate trial balances of financial records.
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
Proficiency in the following software is essential:
- MS Excel
- MS Outlook
- MS Windows
- QuickBooks
- SAP (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD)
- Strong attention to detail is required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
- Comfort with repetitive tasks and tight deadlines.
- Capability to work effectively under pressure.
