About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at 2581829 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our accounting department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Communication: Communicate financial information to management, stakeholders, and other team members as required.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 30-35 hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
