Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a growth- and goals-oriented mindset, with a strong ability to work collaboratively and think progressively. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and helping to grow the business, while leveraging RBC's extensive investment and wealth management resources to create customized portfolios and wealth plans for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build a client base of high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners, and manage their complex financial needs.
  • Leverage RBC's resources to create customized portfolios and wealth plans for clients.
  • Foster trusted, long-term relationships with clients using personalized service and advice.
  • Establish and maintain reciprocal relationships with RBC partners to ensure clients are supported in all aspects of their financial lives.
Requirements
  • Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with CIRO (if not already obtained, must be willing to be licensed within 6 months of hire date).
  • Successful completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course or Investment Management Techniques (IMT).
  • 4-6 years or more of professional experience within the investment industry, providing face-to-face advice on investment products and services.
  • University degree.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
  • Highly developed client service skills.
  • Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
