**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at pt Health. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations, including admission assessments, ADL assessments, and specialized seating and positioning assessments.
  • Identify and recommend appropriate equipment needs, and consult with local vendors to facilitate trials and applications.
  • Provide education and training to clients and their families on topics such as seating and positioning, independence with activities of daily living, and wheelchair and adaptive aide use.
  • Monitor and evaluate restraint use, wound prevention, falls, and injury prevention, and record assessment and treatment interventions in client charts.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Provincial Association of Occupational Therapists.
  • ADP Authorization.
  • Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
