Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifemark Seniors Wellness. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing assessment, treatment, and education to clients in a variety of settings, including long-term care facilities, retirement communities, and private homes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' needs and goals
  • Provide education and training to clients and their families on topics such as safety, mobility, and daily living skills
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and treatment plans
Requirements:
  • Registration with the Provincial Association of Occupational Therapists
  • ADP Authorization is required
  • Experience in Long Term Care preferred
