Our client is a leading national law firm with over 100 years of experience providing high-quality legal services. With a strong presence in Western Canada, they have established themselves as one of the largest national firms in the country.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving practice group that specializes in complex banking and financial matters. As a member of this team, you will have the chance to work closely with large multinational financial institutions and borrowers on various projects, including project and business debt financing, acquisition and asset-based financing, equipment leasing, and asset-backed lending.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide expert advice on banking and financial services to clients
  2. Assist in the preparation and review of complex financial documents
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective financial strategies
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
  1. Called to the Alberta Bar and a member of good standing in the Law Society of Alberta
  2. 4+ years of experience in banking and financial services
  3. Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
  4. Ability to work effectively in a team environment
