Job Summary:
Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Errinrung, a home in Thornbury, Ontario. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to our residents, enhancing their physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and personal hygiene.
- Offer emotional and social support to residents and their families, including palliative care.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Support your colleagues in providing high-quality care and services.
Requirements:
- Certificate or diploma in Personal Support Work or a related field.
- Passion for delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact on the lives of others.
- Knowledge of care planning systems and documentation practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
