As a Senior Assurance and Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our Assurance & Accounting division. This team of skilled professionals is committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients, navigating the complexities of the current business and financial reporting environment. Your expertise will help clients make informed decisions with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client-focused teams in executing intricate audit, review, and compliance tax projects, alongside budgeting, internal controls, and financial transactions.
- Provide specialized industry knowledge and technical proficiency in audit and assurance through client engagement, comprehensive reports, management presentations, and high-quality deliverables.
- Manage a diverse client portfolio, gaining insights into their operations, identifying key risks, and enhancing value delivery; ensure client satisfaction and foster relationship growth.
- Oversee engagement planning, scheduling, and project financials, including budgets, work in progress, timely billing, collections, and variance analysis.
- Uphold quality standards while applying specialized knowledge to foresee, identify, and resolve issues pertinent to clients' operations and financial reporting.
- Engage with the local business community to explore business development opportunities and assist in crafting competitive proposals tailored to client needs.
- Contribute to strategic and operational planning for client and practice management, while innovating new ideas and methodologies to enhance workflows.
- Mentor and guide team members in their professional growth by establishing clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Maintain the flexibility to travel as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in public accounting.
- Comprehensive understanding of business, accounting, management, and practice development principles.
- Demonstrated skills in people management, relationship building, and leadership.
- Strong capabilities in strategic planning and conceptual thinking.
