Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Compass Canada. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, pots, pans, trays, and utensils to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Maintain the dish and kitchen area, ensuring equipment is clean, in working condition, and complies with safety standards.
  • Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Remove trash and place it in designated containers, and steam clean or hose out garbage cans as needed.
  • Assist in loading, unloading, and transferring supplies, products, and equipment between storage and work areas.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Previous dishwashing experience preferred, but not required.
  • Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines preferred.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
