Key Responsibilities- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Deliver safety and health education to individuals and their families, promoting healthy habits and wellness.
- Assess patient needs and develop care plans, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient outcomes.
- Monitor patients' progress, evaluating the effectiveness of nursing interventions and making adjustments as needed.
- Eligibility for licensure as a practical nurse in the province/territory of work.
- Current certification in Intravenous (IV) therapy and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Physical stamina to perform duties in a hospital setting, including standing for extended periods and lifting patients as needed.
