We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Northern Regional Health Authority.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Deliver safety and health education to individuals and their families, promoting healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
  • Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor patients' progress, evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with the healthcare team as needed.
Requirements:
  • Eligibility for licensure as a practical nurse in the province/territory of work.
  • Intravenous (IV) therapy certification.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate.
