Located in Montreal, QC, Canada, this Casino-Hotel is renowned for its sophisticated gaming options, featuring 1,000 Electronic Gaming Devices and over 80 poker tables. It is recognized globally as a top destination for poker enthusiasts. The establishment also hosts high-profile entertainment events and offers a variety of dining options, including multiple restaurants, bars, and lounges.
A new 100-room hotel is set to enhance the guest experience.
Position Overview:
We are in search of a seasoned VP of Marketing with a strong background in casino marketing. This role will be pivotal in shaping the strategic direction and execution of comprehensive marketing initiatives, as well as managing the overall brand identity of the organization.
The VP of Marketing will lead the integration of various marketing channels, including traditional and digital advertising, direct mail, social media, public relations, and brand marketing. The objective is to enhance occupancy rates and revenue across the gaming, entertainment, hotel, and food & beverage sectors. This position is crucial for expanding market presence, increasing player engagement, and driving profitability through innovative marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and implementation of marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
- Lead a marketing team, guiding projects related to narrative development, campaigns, product marketing, web presence, and branding.
- Formulate creative concepts and marketing plans aimed at achieving organizational goals.
- Utilize excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills to drive marketing efforts.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Collaborate effectively with marketers, content strategists, copywriters, producers, and graphic designers to fulfill project objectives.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6 years in a senior marketing management role, specifically within the casino sector.
- A post-secondary degree in communications, marketing, business, or public relations.
- Proven experience in leading marketing teams and managing diverse projects.
- Strong track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
Additional Information:
While bilingualism is not a requirement, proficiency in English is essential, and knowledge of French is considered an asset.
