The OpportunityWe're seeking a highly analytical and strategic thinker to join our dynamic team at our Mississauga office. As a Sr. Sales Forecasting Analyst, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining item-level forecasts that align with consumer demand, sales strategies, and market trends.
Your Key Responsibilities- Lead forecasting efforts to drive sales success and optimize product availability
- Collaborate closely with internal Sales teams and external Customer Planning and Replenishment teams to ensure seamless product flow and maximize sales opportunities
- Analyze sales and promotional data to generate accurate monthly flow patterns and identify key trends
- Improve forecast accuracy by identifying key trends, minimizing variance, and ensuring a balanced inventory
- Participate in internal S&OP meetings and maintain proactive communication with leadership on risks, opportunities, and performance against KPIs
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field (MBA is a plus)
- 3-5 years of experience in forecasting, planning, or sales analytics, with a strong track record of increasing responsibility
- Proficiency with tools like Anaplan, Blue Yonder/JDA, SAP, Tableau, or Cognos, and familiarity with statistical forecasting techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, apply critical thinking, and provide data-driven recommendations
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally
