Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at St. Joseph's Care Group. As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct physical assessments and provide education to patients and families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Requirements
- Certificate of Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses.
- Current CPR certification.
- Recent physical assessment and pharmacology courses.
- Current knowledge and demonstrated ability to work with designated population.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with the team.
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work.
Working Conditions
- This position requires a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
- Offers of employment made to external candidates are conditional upon providing proof of COVID-19 vaccination as per the or proof of valid medical exemption, prior to the offered effective date.
