About the Role
The Inside Sales Account Specialist – Electrical Distributors plays a critical role in managing the full sales cycle and order processing of electrical distributor accounts while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain strong business relationships with electrical distributor customers and identify new business opportunities.
- Respond to customer needs and ensure timely communication and follow-up.
- Analyze business performance and provide recommendations to drive sales growth using market and customer insights.
- Process product returns through the customer complaint reporting process.
- Share competitive information, market trends, and customer product demands with relevant staff and management.
- Follow up on customer quotations and obtain feedback on pricing and timing.
- Highlight quotation opportunities to management and the outside sales team.
- Requires 2-3 years of experience in an inside sales function, preferably in the electrical industry.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong relationship-building capabilities to source and develop opportunities and close sales.
- Client-focused, responsive, service-oriented, persuasive, and flexible.
