Xplore Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Field Operations Technician to join our team in Temiskaming Shores, ON. As a key member of our Field Operations team, you will be responsible for the hands-on integration, repair, and maintenance of our Xplore network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for network construction, repair, maintenance, and support
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure seamless network operations
  • Collaborate with support groups to resolve technical issues and improve network performance
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on network equipment and infrastructure
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure network integrity and quality
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve network efficiency and reliability
Requirements
  • 1-year related work experience or a degree/diploma from a related discipline
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills
  • Experience with fixed wireless and Fibre optic network deployments
  • Experience handling, configuring, and installing Network Equipment
  • Certified Fibre Optic Technician (CFOT) or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Fibre Optic troubleshooting tools and test sets
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and analytical approach
  • Working knowledge of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, routers, switches, and DHCP
  • Basic understanding of fixed wireless/Fibre Optic network architecture and infrastructure
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with industry standards for Health & Safety, Construction, and CSA
