About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Laborer - Grounds Maintenance Specialist to join our team at 2628958 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience
    • No formal education is required, but relevant experience is an asset.
  • Work Site Environment
    • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Tasks
    • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
    • Tie and secure plants, and remove litter and garbage.
    • Cut grass, cart, and spread topsoil and other materials.
    • Lay sod or seed, and repair and maintain equipment.
    • Write daily basic progress reports, and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
    • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including snow removal equipment.
    • Perform snow maintenance operations, including handling snowmaking and snow removal equipment.
  • Work Environment
    • Work 32 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language
    • English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
