Position Overview

The Logistics Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the efficient functioning of transportation activities within the organization. This permanent position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week and is conducted in English.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in a related field
Work Environment

The successful candidate will operate in a fast-paced transportation setting, where attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities across various departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive reports on logistics performance.
  • Address and resolve operational challenges, providing technical guidance to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Recruit, hire, and train new staff members, ensuring they are well-versed in company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and arrange ongoing training for team members.
  • Assign tasks and oversee work to maintain high standards of efficiency.
  • Establish and manage work schedules and operational procedures.
Supervisory Responsibilities

The Logistics Operations Supervisor will oversee a team of 3-4 individuals.

Technical Proficiency

Familiarity with dispatch management software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) is required.

Safety and Security

A criminal record check is mandatory for this position.

Physical Requirements

The role involves working in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and may require handling weights of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
