Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at Integrated Display Group Inc. as a Supervisor, Shipping and Receiving. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in logistics and operations management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Activities: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth operation of the organization.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Advice: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Staff Development: Arrange training for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Work Scheduling and Procedures: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operation of the organization.
  • Operational Logistics: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization.
Supervision

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising 1 to 2 people.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced, requiring attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Physical Demands

The successful candidate will be required to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) on a regular basis.
