Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Diesel Freight Systems Inc. as a key member of our logistics operations.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials across various routes, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Route Optimization: Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions, utilizing computer equipment and GPS technology.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, as well as oversee all aspects of vehicle condition and maintenance.
  • Documentation: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections and maintenance.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • License: AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
