About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machining Specialist to join our team at A & D Custom Machining & Fabricating. As a CNC Machining Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools, ensuring high-quality parts are produced efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify Part Dimensions: Use precise measuring instruments to verify the dimensions of parts machined on our CNC machines.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of our tools.
  • Toolpath Programming: Enter codes specifying speed, feed, and cut of the toolpath for CNC machine tools, ensuring accurate and efficient machining.
  • Workplace Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a machine shop or CNC machining environment is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination are essential for this role.
  • Equipment and Machinery: Familiarity with CNC machines and ability to operate them safely and efficiently.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from work is required.
