Job Summary

Woodstock Precision Machining INC is seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating various metalworking machines and equipment to fabricate metal parts and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Lay out, set up, and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines to cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld, or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products.
  • Quality Control: Check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment, and investigate problems to fix or make minor repairs.
  • Material Handling: Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist.
  • Documentation: Document work completed and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, and team player.
  • Certifications: Required certifications for the position.
