Job Title: Junior Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Scientist to join our team at AbCellera. As a Junior Scientist, you will be responsible for building out our pharm-tox capabilities, designing and executing PK data packages, collaborating with teams across the company, and training and mentoring more junior scientists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and executing PK data packages tailored for individual programs
  • Collaborating with teams across the company to generate data and interpret them
  • Training and mentoring more junior scientists
  • Evaluating new technology and testing new models to better predict human illness
  • Reporting findings to our teams and partners to support data-driven decision making
Requirements:
  • Have a proven track record of building PK datasets to support successful drug development programs, from early discovery and into later stages
  • Are an expert in designing PK studies and conducting PK/PD data analysis, using WinNonlin or other similar software
  • Have a PhD in Biology, Pharmacology or related discipline with 10+ years of industry experience
  • Enjoy the teamwork that comes with working on complicated biological questions and building data sets that help to predict the success of therapies
  • Are good at communicating scientific and/or technical concepts with an emphasis on application
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range of CAD $141,600 - $177,000 annually, commensurate with your education and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
