About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Domestic Caregiver to join our team at James Ayaeze. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our private residence.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Household Management: Launder clothing and household linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shop for food and household supplies, wash windows, walls and ceilings.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of household supplies and expenses.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Security Clearance: Basic security clearance.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking private residence.
  • Work Setting: Private residence.
  • Physical Demands: Repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
