We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our team at Chef Big D's Deli and Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure timely and efficient food service
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Permanent employment
- English as the primary language of communication
- 40 hours per week
Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and ability to work under pressure are essential. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
