Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Earl of Whitchurch. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high standards.
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Organize buffets and banquets to ensure seamless service.
  • Manage kitchen operations to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 33 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with attention to detail required.
  • Physically demanding role with standing for extended periods.
  • Work under pressure to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
