The Earl of Whitchurch is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Organize buffets and banquets
- Manage kitchen operations
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- Basic security clearance
- Own transportation
- Attention to detail
- Fast-paced environment
- Physically demanding
- Standing for extended periods
- Work under pressure
Working Conditions:
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 33 to 40 hours per week
