About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at Apple Hotel Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Budgeting: Develop and manage project budgets, including estimating costs and materials, and preparing bids.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and schedule activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Team Management: Recruit, hire, and manage a team of construction workers, including supervising their work and providing training and development opportunities.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the work environment is safe and secure.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress, including production and other reports.
  • Materials and Supplies: Requisition materials and supplies, and ensure that they are delivered to the project site on time.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
  • Security Clearance: Basic security clearance.
  • Work Conditions: Overtime required, tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel to project sites.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, organized, and a team player.
