To oversee the functioning of a concrete production facility, including the management of concrete mixer operators and maintenance staff, ensuring the delivery of superior products, punctual service, and customer satisfaction.Responsibilities
Health and Safety:

Show dedication to achieving and surpassing environmental regulations.Sales Coordination:
Relay potential opportunities and challenges to the Plant Manager. Follow up on customer inquiries and promote additional products when feasible.Reporting Duties:
Keep precise daily and monthly records. Ensure collection of all 'cash on delivery' payments and maintain accurate sales and quote records. Track fuel consumption accurately. Guarantee timely approval and processing of all invoices. Ensure drivers complete and submit all required documentation.Logistics and Transportation:
Supervise Ready Mix drivers on a daily basis. Oversee concrete batching operations. Schedule jobs and drivers to optimize fleet utilization. Anticipate material requirements for upcoming projects. Ensure a precise billing process. Manage material inventory, conduct monthly physical counts, and order supplies as necessary.Operational Analysis and Improvement:
Effectively utilize Key Performance Indicators, efficiency assessments, financial reports, and operational data to monitor performance, develop actionable plans, and enhance operations continuously.Facility Presentation:
Maintain or arrange for the upkeep of the facility in line with established standards for cleanliness and appearance.Quality Assurance:
Implement the Holcim quality assurance program, which includes sampling concrete and aggregates, testing plastic concrete properties, casting concrete test cylinders, conducting trials, and maintaining accurate records and reports. Conduct quality control assessments independently and adhere to the precision standards set by relevant industry organizations. Obtain and uphold valid certifications as required. Transport materials and samples as necessary between facilities and job sites.Qualification Profile
Minimum High School Diploma; Post-Secondary education in a related field is preferred. Willingness to travel occasionally for extended periods. Experience in the ready mix sector is advantageous. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel, SAP, Command-Alkon). Availability for overtime as required. Customer service-oriented mindset.
