Job Title: Quality Assurance Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technologist to join our team at Sophia's Garden (Artisan) Inc.

Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Technologist will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products, from raw materials to finished goods. This includes inspecting processes, collecting and analyzing data, and conducting quality audits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect processes: Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Collect and compile operational or experimental data: Gather and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collect and analyze data and samples: Conduct quality control checks on raw materials and finished goods.
  • Conduct quality control: Ensure products meet quality and safety standards.
  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP): Implement and maintain GMP procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Explain procedures: Train staff on quality control procedures and protocols.
  • Conduct quality audits: Regularly audit production processes to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Certificate: Possess a valid SQF certificate.
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software: Proficient in using ERP software.
  • MS Windows: Familiarity with MS Windows operating system.
  • HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) knowledge: Understanding of HACCP principles and procedures.
  • Google Docs: Proficient in using Google Docs.
Working Conditions:

The Quality Assurance Technologist will work in a laboratory and food processing plant environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be organized, and have excellent communication skills.
