Job Title: Quality Assurance Technologist

Sophia's Garden (Artisan) Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technologist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Technologist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Work Setting

This is a permanent position in a laboratory and food processing plant setting. Relocation costs are not covered by the employer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect processes to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Collect and compile operational or experimental data to identify areas for improvement
  • Collect and analyze data and samples to ensure product quality and safety
  • Conduct quality control and quality audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Explain procedures to colleagues and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in quality assurance and control
  • Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Certificate
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, MS Windows, and HACCP
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and initiative
