About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Cook to join our team at Denny's Restaurants. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards, using a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards and company policies.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations and high-quality food service.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training and development programs to improve cooking skills and knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment, urban area.
