Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Assist in preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items to meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and stored.
- Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized waste disposal area.
- Food Handling: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, and assist in the preparation of other food items as needed.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in the kitchen, and proficiency in English is required.
- Work Schedule: 32 to 40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the kitchen.
