Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Coastal Drywall Supplies Ltd. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, and receiving and relaying information to central dispatch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Pick-up: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with our team.
  • Assembly and Installation: Assemble, install, and set-up merchandise/products, ensuring high-quality service to our customers.
  • Record Keeping: Keep a record of items received and delivered, accurately tracking inventory and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Preparation and Restocking: Prepare, package, and restock goods, ensuring efficient and effective logistics operations.
  • Transportation and Handling: Transport and handle dangerous goods, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Customer Service: Accept and deliver messages and packages for events, conferences, or assemblies, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Load and Unload: Load and unload goods, ensuring efficient and effective logistics operations.
  • Sorting and Organization: Sort packages for delivery, ensuring accurate and efficient sorting and organization.
  • Navigation and Record Keeping: Follow directions and read maps, using maps and other trip planning aids to navigate and record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems.
  • Payment and Receipt: Pay and receive payments for goods, ensuring accurate and efficient financial transactions.
