Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Coastal Drywall Supplies Ltd. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks, and receiving and relaying information to central dispatch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Pick-up: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
  • Assembly and Installation: Assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products as required.
  • Record Keeping: Keep a record of items received and delivered, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Preparation and Restocking: Prepare, package, and restock goods as needed.
  • Transportation and Handling: Transport and handle dangerous goods, following all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts as required.
