Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Coastal Drywall Supplies Ltd. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, and receiving and relaying information to central dispatch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Pick-up: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to safety and traffic regulations.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
  • Assembly and Installation: Assemble, install, and set-up merchandise/products, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Record Keeping: Keep a record of items received and delivered, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Preparation and Restocking: Prepare, package, and restock goods, ensuring efficient and safe handling.
  • Transportation and Handling: Transport and handle dangerous goods, adhering to safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Customer Service: Accept and deliver messages and packages for events, conferences, or assemblies, providing excellent customer service.
  • Logistics: Load and unload goods, sort packages for delivery, and follow directions and read maps to ensure efficient navigation.
  • Administrative Tasks: Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems, and pay and receive payments for goods.
