Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities

Prescription Management and Administrative Support:

  1. Processing customer transactions and managing prescription requests
  2. Handling refill requests via phone and in-person, and coordinating deliveries
  3. Promoting pharmacy initiatives and programs
  4. Maintaining organized filing of prescriptions, ordering supplies, and ensuring cleanliness
  5. Assisting with drug order creation, compounding, and pill pack assembly
  6. Scheduling clinical services as required
  7. Managing inventory and conducting cycle counts
  8. Supporting the pharmacist with dispensary tasks within permitted scope
Qualifications
  1. Preferred: Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from an accredited institution
  2. Consideration for applicants with two years of retail pharmacy experience in lieu of certification in certain provinces
  3. Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is advantageous
  4. Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and work independently in a dynamic environment
