Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Innomar Strategies. As a Pharmacy Technician - Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Pharmacy Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy;
  • Collaborate with Pharmacists and Pharmacy Assistants to fulfill prescription orders;
  • Work independently to label and fill/refill prescriptions;
  • Perform a double check for repeat prescription releases;
  • Verify that customers receive the correct prescriptions;
  • Identify potential therapeutic issues and seek the Pharmacist's input;
  • Work collaboratively with Innomar and ABSG Patient Programs to fulfill pharmacy responsibilities;
  • Prepare and process billings, claims, disbursements, and related documents;
  • Assist patients picking up prescriptions;
  • Enter prescriptions into the computer and retrieve/correct data;
  • Screen calls and gather relevant information for the Pharmacist;
  • Order, maintain, and prepare inventory of medications;
  • Review invoices and other documentation;
  • Pack and ship prescription orders;
  • Receive and maintain accurate inventory;
  • Report Adverse Events in accordance with provincial regulatory standards and internal/contractual obligations;
  • The Registered Pharmacy Technician is required to renew their SCP Registration annually and participate in the Quality Assurance Process regularly as part of their continuing education;
  • The Registered Pharmacy Technician will be assigned other duties and tasks as required from time to time;
  • May be required to be on standby/on call as part of this role.
Requirements
  • Pharmacy Technician diploma from an accredited college and successful completion of Structured Practical Training or successful completion of the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists Bridging Program and a Certificate of Registration with SCP;
  • Two or more years of related pharmacy experience;
  • Strong proficiency in Kroll required;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Bilingualism, French/English is an asset.
