Job Title: Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Diabetes Canada. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
  • Follow directions and read maps to navigate routes and ensure timely delivery.
  • Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition.
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Criminal record check and bondable.
  • Driving record check (abstract).
Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and the ability to work in a physically demanding role is required. You will be handling heavy loads and working in a variety of settings, including rural and urban areas.
