About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Drivers Supervisor to join our team at 2578915 ONTARIO INC. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our delivery drivers and ensuring the smooth execution of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate the activities of our delivery drivers, ensuring they are aware of their schedules, routes, and delivery deadlines.
  • Train and Develop our delivery drivers to improve their skills and knowledge, and to ensure they are equipped to handle various situations.
  • Manage and Control the inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies, and ensure that they are properly maintained and stored.
  • Ensure Compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Coordinate and Schedule activities, including delivery routes, driver assignments, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Monitor and Analyze performance metrics, such as delivery times, driver productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong Organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to Work Under Pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Word.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced logistics environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a dynamic environment with frequent travel and variable work schedules.
