About the Role

The Employment Relations Manager Bilingual is a key member of our Human Resources team, responsible for providing first-level support, education, and consultation to employees and managers on employee relations issues, HR policy interpretation, and Leave of Absence management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on employment, compensation, time away from work policies, and employee issue resolution.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on HR tools and resources, partnering with HR Business Partners as needed.
  • Investigate complaints, develop action plans, and make recommendations to resolve policy interpretation issues.
  • Coach managers and employees on difficult decisions and discussions, such as termination, employee issues, and performance management.
  • Ensure legislative compliance requirements are met, including accessibility standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as an HR generalist with a comprehensive understanding of applicable legislation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • CHRL designation required.
