Job Title: Food Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Food Store Supervisor to join our team at CASTELLA RICHMOND CENTRE LTD.

Job Summary:

The Food Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of our team members, managing inventory, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop our team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Authorize Returns: Review and approve returns of merchandise, ensuring that all procedures are followed and that customers are satisfied.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure that our store is adequately staffed at all times.
  • Prepare Reports: Compile and analyze sales data, merchandising information, and personnel matters to provide insights for future improvements.
  • Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, ensuring that our customers receive excellent service.
  • Organize Inventory: Manage and maintain our inventory levels, ensuring that we have the right products in stock at all times.
  • Supervise and Coordinate: Oversee the activities of our team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Conduct Performance Reviews: Evaluate the performance of our team members, providing feedback and coaching to help them improve.
  • Develop Marketing Strategies: Collaborate with our marketing team to develop strategies that drive sales and increase customer engagement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Work Setting: Urban area, retail business.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized, reliability, dependability, judgement, ability to multitask.
