About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Applewood Forming Inc. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to ensure high-quality finishes.
  • Pave and rake asphalt to achieve smooth surfaces.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites to maintain a safe working environment.
Equipment and Machinery Experience
  • Operate concrete vibrators to ensure even concrete distribution.
  • Use reciprocating saws, circular saws, and concrete saws to cut through various materials.
  • Maintain and operate mortar and concrete mixers to produce high-quality mixes.
  • Operate beltcretes, grinding machines, grouting machines, chippers, jackhammers, air compressors, air guns, nail guns, drills, augers, small front-end loaders, chain saws, compactors, and sandblasters as required.
Construction Specialization
  • Work on residential construction projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including handling heavy loads and working at heights.
  • Work in a variety of weather conditions, including outdoors and in confined spaces.
