Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service
- Meet with customers to determine their jewellery needs and preferences
- Provide a selection of products for customers to choose from
- Deliver sound product knowledge to support customers in their purchase choice
- Follow up with customers as necessary to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues
- Sales and Merchandising
- Meet sales targets and contribute to the growth of the business
- Stay up-to-date with new products and promotions to effectively communicate with customers
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging shopping experience
- Operational Tasks
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage cash and credit transactions
- Perform opening and closing duties, including counting and reconciling cash and inventory
- Teamwork and Communication
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- Previous sales or customer service experience in a retail environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
- Strong product knowledge and ability to learn new products quickly
- Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling
- Personal Qualities
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
